Soooooo yeah, this year's nearly over already. That's actually kinda amazing, 2009 absolutely flew by. The last four months have been not so great, but overall the year's been pretty good. Highlight being August, but if you know me, you knew that already. Was in school from January-May, and those months were a lot of fun. The freedom is really something, I miss it. I absolutely cannot wait for 2010, I finally get to go back to school and finally get my freedom back! My 2009 past May (besides trips in the summer) was basically all job-hunting. Didn't get one till October, but at least I got one. I finally landed a job in the last few months at Best Buy, the co-workers are a lot of fun and they've helped me keep my sanity with the repetition of the registers. Just the last few weeks have been RIDICULOUSLY busy. 45 hours in nine days, big paycheck coming Thursday I've met a lot of fun new people this year, and re-connected with some friends I hadn't talked to as much as I should or haven't seen in ages, so I've had a really good year. Roll on 2010!

Anyway, Christmas is three days away now. It reaaaaaaaally snuck up on me with my job taking up a lot of my time. Shopping was a hassle but now I'm ready for my big annual Chicago trip tomorrow! We're leaving at about 4:30 AM and going 14 hours northward to see family for Christmas. It's gonna be a looooooooong day for sure. The weather tomorrow night as we get there is gonna be interesting, supposed to be icy <.< Should be interesting, hopefully the roads are okay. I'm pretty much guaranteed a white Christmas too, so I can't wait to the see that!

I'm gonna be out of town from tomorrow till New Year's Eve. I'll still be online some in Chicago, but not as much as usual. If I don't see you while I'm on vacation, Merry Christmas and happy holidays! Be back in full force in 2010.

Best Buy hired me last Thursday. It's the following Wednesday now and they still haven't called me again. Apparently the drug test takes up to 10 days to process though so if nothing by Friday, I'm calling. This is kinda annoying, I just wanna start already.

Also yesterday I signed up for my classes for January. Nothing too bad I don't think:

Calculus - Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 11 AM to 11:50 AM
The World Since 1945 - Monday, Wednesay - 1 PM to 1:50 PM, Friday - 10 AM to 10:50 AM
Programming - Tuesday, Thursday - 11 AM to 12:15 PM, Friday - 12 PM to 12:50 PM
Discrete Math - Tuesday, Thursday - 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM
Weather and Climate - Tuesday, Thursday - 3:30 PM to 4:45 PM

Nothing too bad I suppose. XD I really can't wait to go back at this point. But I also can't wait for the Christmas season!

$7.50 an hour, they're calling me after they get the drug test results. XD The interview was at 2, it lasted till 2:10. I then waited outside, then ten minutes later they said they were giving me a job offer. Just like that! This was the first interview, too. I couldn't freaking believe it, I'm in a pretty freakin' good mood now XD

Hopefully this means fewer restrictions, we'll see.

Another journal update for the heck of it. I've been home for about a month now. A bit less than three months till I go back... it's STILL that long? Uuuuuuugh. At least winter's coming soon, which means I can finally stop mowing the lawn nearly every week. >:C

Not to mention my sleep schedule is suffering thanks to getting up at 8 every weekday. I never go to bed before 1 these days. I always need caffeine or a nap... or both.

Not much luck on the job hunt, I've had two interviews but neither of them resulted in me getting a job. I think the hunt is winding down, because nobody really wants to hire me for two months or so only to have me leave right after. I can understand that, I suppose.

Not much else going on here, playing the new Mario & Luigi game on my brother's DS. That game is awesome. XD

Never thought I'd say this, but can I go back to school yet?
